Diocletian in A.D.284 was proclaimd Emperor by his troops. At the same time Carinus became Augustus and the two armies met on the River Margus ( Morava, Serbia).
Carinus was victorius, but his own soldiers killed him from fear, because he had the habit of seducing his officers' wives, and they could not risk his behavior any longer.

PHILIP married OLYMPIAS, the sister of the King of Epirus. In 356 B.C. their son ALEXANDER was born, followed the next year by a daughter, CLEOPATRA.
